In this one-of-a-kind monthly workshop, students determine what topics and areas they want to learn more about, and get practical skills, tips, tools, resources and practical knowledge that they can immediately use in their studies, personal lives and careers development journey.

MORE ABOUT THE CONTENT

Following the successful completion of a series of student workshops, postgraduate lectures and youth skills programmes, the course leader (Mr. Gehart Kalmeier, MSc Neurophysiology) decided to host a series of monthly lectures on a wide-range of informative and real-value topics such as:

• Academic Skills (e.g., research, information retrieval, presentation skills, report writing, editing, technical guidance, publication, further learning)
• Financial Skills (e.g., financial literacy, personal finance, investing, passive income, income generation)
• Creative Skills (e.g., critical thinking, divergent and lateral thinking, lean thinking, resourcefulness)
• Employability Skills (e.g., job readiness, interview skills, CV building, business and administration skills, Microsoft Office in the Workspace)
• Entrepreneurship Skills (e.g., starting a business, fund raising, product development, networking, entrepreneurial mindset, lean startup skills)
